Operation Christmas Child

God is at work through a simple shoebox gift!

During November we have the opportunity to make a huge impact in the lives of kids around the world! We are partnering with Samaritan's Purse to fill shoeboxes with gifts that will be sent to kids in many different countries. Along with these boxes, children are taught about the love of Jesus and his saving grace. There are two ways you can participate with us!

1. Fill A Shoebox

  • You can pick up a shoebox in the foyer at New Hope, follow the instructions inside, and return it by November 17.
  • You can also build a shoebox online with just a few clicks! Click the button below to get started!

2. Sign Up To Help With Collection Week

During November 18-25, New Hope will be an Operation Christmas Child Drop-Off Location to receive gift-filled shoeboxes from local churches, groups, families, and individuals. The shoeboxes will be collected, counted, cartoned, and delivered to the Central Drop-Off Location in Columbia City at the end of National Collection Week. To make this a success, volunteers are needed. Sign up below to help! Brief descriptions of each volunteer position that you may be assigned to are as follows:

Greeter - welcomes donors, collects their information, and offers to pray for donor

Unloader - unloads shoeboxes from vehicles and records number of shoeboxes collected

Cartonizer - packs shoeboxes into cartons and seals them for transport
