By default, our Giving software tracks individual donors separately, regardless of marital status. That means if Mrs. Smith donated $100 in 2019, and Mr. Smith donated $25 in 2019, they each would be getting their own separate giving statement for 2019 -- Mrs. Smith's for $100 and Mr. Smith for $25. This can cause confusion at the end of the year if Mr. Smith is expecting a $125 giving statement.
Married couples can always file their taxes jointly with two separate giving statements, but if they would like to be tracked JOINTLY, they can fill out the form below. This would combine their two giving statements into one giving statement showing all the donations of Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith.
