We’re so glad you’re interested in receiving coaching and counseling! We believe Jesus came to bring healing not only to our spiritual and physical lives, but to our emotional and mental health as well.
The goal of our Coaching & Counseling ministry is to help individuals think biblically about their current struggles within a confidential and caring environment.
Our team relies on Scripture as the sole authority for faith and conduct, and we believe that lasting change happens through the power of God, the grace of Christ, and the indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit.
We also encourage you to explore Freedom Groups—our 12-week small group experience focused on emotional healing, identity in Christ, and spiritual breakthrough. While not a prerequisite for coaching, Freedom Groups often serve as a powerful foundation for the journey ahead.
Guided by biblical principles, our team uses a thoughtful process that may include guided questioning, empathetic support, problem definition, reading or reflection assignments, encouragement, and prayer.
Our goal is to offer wise, biblical, and faithful counsel to those who are hurting and in need.
Our coaches and counselors are pastors and trained volunteers—not licensed mental health professionals.
While we offer spiritual direction and biblical support, Coaching & Counseling at New Hope is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are facing serious emotional or psychological challenges, we encourage you to also speak with a licensed provider.
